How to make a complaint about the Attorney General's Office

If you have a complaint you wish to make about the Law Officers, please write, or send an e-mail to the Director, Policy and Administration, at the address below. You should receive a substantive response within 20 working days from receipt of your complaint. If this is not possible, we will explain why.

Director, Policy and Administration can be contacted at:

20 Victoria Street
London SW1H 0NF
Tel: 020 7271 2492
Fax: 020 7271 2434
E-Mail:complaints@attorneygeneral.gsi.gov.uk

If you are still dissatisfied after receiving a response from the department, then your complaint (depending on its nature) may be referred to the Director General as Head of Department.

MPs should write to the Director General, Jonathan Jones, in the first instance with any complaints.

Please note that the Crown Prosecution Service, the Serious Fraud Office and the Treasury Solicitor's Department all have their own, separate complaints procedures.
